“Tom Hank is Forrest Gump” is one of my famous movies, which is directed by Robert Zemeckis and released in 1994. The movie was well success and garnered many award, including Academy Awards, Golden Globe Awards, People's Choice Awards, and Young Artist Awards. The cost of the movie was $55 million and it earned over $677 million while theatrical run.

The story is about a man who has an IQ of 75 points, 5 points under then normal people but his life was full of hopeful and successful. He never give up while failure. He will try again and again until success.

Beside the story, the music are pleasant to the ear. I still remember the music even I watched this movie when I was young.

The Rose Period of Picasso

The Rose Period of Picasso was from 1904 to 1906, which is the period after his Blue Period. He used orange, pink color and circus people to present happy and cheery feelings, which was very different from his Blue Period.

In this period, he met a model for sculptors and artists who call Fernande Olivier and have a warm relationship with her. These warm and happy feelings were showed in his painting.

This painting call “Boy With A Pipe”. Picasso painted it in 1905 and it was cost $104,000,000 in at that moment. Picasso used a lot of colorful flowers in it’s background and put a flower crowd on the boy’s head to create the peaceful feeling.

This painting call “Family of acrobats with monkey”. Picasso painted it in 1905. In this painting, a woman holding her baby in her arms and her husband sit next her. A monkey sit next to them and look at them peacefully.

How Facebook Has Changed Society

Facebook is the most well-known social network site in the world. It have 500 million active users whose spend over 700 billion minutes per month and arround 130 friends on it. Facebook has become a need in our modern internet world and change our behaveer.

People spend any minites that they have on Facebook since Internet is very common in these days. Internet can be obtained by application in moble phone. People can login facebook at anytime and anywhere. For example, on the bus, on the train, office and school. People will not take a rest and login facebook.

Facbook is a new way of conection between friends or family since we are not only useing mail or phone. People can search a friend frow a list of people and add them into his friend list, sending messages, applications and comments. These are the ways of conections between people because it can share video and photo in a convenient way.

Facebook is some kind of entertainment since it has develop many application and games on it. People can play games on  facebook and it is free. For example, HAPPY FARM can lets players desgin their farm and share the farm to other player. These games can make people play and never get borad since there are too much on internet.

Facebook is a social network that we can’t refuse becuase it is fun and easy to use. People found their old or missing friends by this network and it will keep growing as we need it more then it need us.

Element of Art

My homework for last few weeks was getting known in element of art.  There are texture, line, colour, shapes and value. These elements appear everywhere in our daily life but I was not notice. So from now on, I need to notice them and get use to understand them because I may to create them in my own work. Creating is not easy, so I think I need to start with the first step, start searching the element of art in daily life.

I found that the element of art was not hard to find, I could find them easily in daily life but it was not easy to understand. For example, I found the logo for commonwealth bank. It is created by a square with an under at the bottom. It is very sample but I cannot understand it, so I searched on Internet for the answer and what I found is it represents the five stars of the Southern Cross. It is hard to understand the meaning if I did not have enough knowledge in history or culture.

Tron legacy, which is a good movie that out of what I had expected. I watched it with my classmate last Saturday. I did not have any expectation about it because it may be just one of those action movie, but it is not. Out of the blue, the action in this movie are not exciting but the story of this movie is very good.

The story is about a system developer who call Kevin Flynn. He developed a system that can teleport people to a electron world and he were trying to build a perfect world in it, but he failed. He is the creator of the world but his creation rejected him.

The main idea of the story is the concept of the prefect world and the battle between the creator and his creation. These are not my expectation but I like it very much.

New Day

This photo was taken on 15th SEP near darling harbour and that month is my second month after I came to Sydney. People whose in the photo were my friends in english school. They are young and full of energy, ready for  a new start, in a new place and new journey.

For me, a 30 years old man who is starting a new journey and a new career but it is 10 years late from them. I left my family, my love, my friends and my career behind and come to a place that I don't know. This is not coincidence. I am not here by randomisation. There had thousand of things that could happen to change my choices but none of them had happened within these years.

Now I am here, I am looking at the sunset of Sydney, behind my new friends. I don't have their youth and energy since I had tired out by illness and things but I need to finish my duty here. I need to wait, prepare and think ... what's next and beyond .... just like 25 years ago....

House of Meina Ch1

“I am freezing! “

My car crashes into a tree, in the middle of a highway and surrounded by snow but nothing else. I can’t see any other cars or any living things nearby in this mid night. 

“I can’t stay here anymore. I have to do something or I will be die”

I try to clear my eyes and search thought the twisted glass. It is not easy because the snow is blowing into my eye but I have to try.

“What is that the big shadow inside the woods?”

I see a shadow that it’s sharp just looks like a house, which is behind those woods.

“I have to go there!”

I climb over the broken windows and move my body out of the car. I am walking slowly toward to shadow with no feeling on my feets or arms. The snow is hitting me badly and I start to think if I fall down, this will be my end. If that is not a house, this will be my end too.

“That’s great! I see something but what is this?”

I see a huge building in front of me but it is looks really like a castle more than a house. A unlocked gate and a old style wall surround the castle and they are 3 times of my high and all black in colour, but those are not what i am caring about now. I push the gate and move on.

“Good! Here is the door!”

The door is about 3m high and black in colour too. It looks like that the owner likes black colour very much. I knock the door as hard as i can since i am freezing and nearly pass out.

“Knock!”

“Help!”

“Knock! Knock!”

“Anyone here? Help me please!”

I hear some sound of foot steps come from the other side of the door but the sound is very strong and big. It looks like some rock is hitting the floor hardly. The sound had stopped when it reaches the door and the door opens slowly.

“Come in!”

A loveIy voice come from direction of the door. Behind that door I see a young girl with a long red hair and black eye, dressing up like 17th century party but she just looks like 20 years old.

“Thank you!”

I move my tried body into the castle. The first room i see is a sitting room with a fireplace which decorate with some blue stone birds fly on it but i cant find any chair or sofa that i can have a rest”

“Sleep first...”

Those are the last words that I can hear. After that, I fall down on the floor and pass out.
